‘Wild ‘N Out’ star Ms Jacky Oh! dies aged 32 – rest in peace

Former Wild ‘n Out star Ms Jacky Oh! has died aged 32, according to a tragic update on the show’s Instagram page.

Jacky Oh, real name Jacklyn Smith, was a part of the hit show throughout five seasons, and shared three children with her long-time boyfriend DC Young Fly.

“We are deeply saddened by the passing of Jacklyn Smith, known to the world as Jacky Oh, a talented Wild ‘N Out family member whose impact will be forever treasured and missed,” a spokesperson from BET Media Group wrote.

“The BET Media Group extends our sincere condolences to the Smith family, DC Young Fly, B Simone, Nick Cannon, and all friends who loved and cared for Jacky Oh during this difficult time.”

TMZ were the first to report word of Jacky Oh’s passing, claiming that the television personality had passed away in Miami. At the time of writing her cause of death remains unknown, though several outlets say she was in Miami for a “mommy makeover”.

According to sources, Jacky Oh joined Wild ‘n Out when the series was revived on MTV2 in 2013. Show creator Nick Cannon was said to have seen her modeling work on social media and approached her to see if she was interested in taking her talents to TV.

Despite leaving Wild ‘n Out after five seasons, Jacky Oh remained a popular figure. Her YouTube channel had some 819,000 followers, while ET Online say she was working as a realtor and had recently launched a lip gloss line at the time of her passing.

Her partner, DC Young Fly, who she met during her time on Wild ‘n Out, reportedly received word of her death while filming new episodes of the show in Atlanta.

The couple have three children, Nova, Nala, and Prince.
