Woman notices McDonald’s has strange sign in window – snaps pic that goes viral

But that’s not what Christmas is about, not really. One woman who recognizes this – and is actively trying to enlighten others – is Amy Basel.

Amy’s aware of how people have become caught up in the commercial aspect of Christmas, and forgotten about what this most cherished of holiday seasons is all about. They know that Santa comes down the chimney with presents, but do they know that Jesus died for our sins?

Amy’s fortune

Fortunately, not everyone so readily dispenses of the fulfilling joy to be had by embracing Christmas in its truest form. Amy Basel noticed one McDonald’s willingness to proudly display the nativity scene on their windows, and was so taken aback that she simply had to post to Facebook.

“Drove by and did a double-take. Growing up in The Mitten, you would NEVER see this. Tennessee McDonald’s… You made my day,” she wrote.

It should come as no surprise that Amy’s post was well received online. In no time at all, it garnered 82,000 shares and almost 136,000 likes on Facebook.

We’d like to give a shout out to this McDonalds for having the guts to do this!
