1000-Lb Sisters’ star Tammy Slaton shows off 440lb weight loss in swimsuit – fans react, ‘she looks creepy’

Tammy Slaton, star of 1000-Lb Sisters, is not afraid to show a little skin, especially after a massive weight loss.

The TLC personality recently shared a snapshot of herself and a friend both wearing bathing suits ahead of a “girls trip.”

While it’s unclear where Slaton, 37, and her friend psychic medium Haley Michelle are going, the two are fully prepared.

Prior to the swimsuit photo, Michelle posted a picture of the two “Getting some groceries before our girls trip 🩷”

At her heaviest, the 37-year-old weighed 725 pounds. Since 2020, fans have watched Slaton as she painstakingly worked to lose enough weight in order to become eligible for bariatric surgery.

After she had the weight loss surgery, she continued to work hard and lost even more weight.

In December 2023, she told People she lost a total of 440 pounds and weighed around 285 pounds.

“One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people,” Slaton said. “But for me it was huge.”

“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don’t even sleep with it at night anymore,” she said. “Then it was being able to fit in a regular vehicle, front seat, and then the belt buckle, and not have to use an extender now. So I mean, just what seems minor to some people is giant for me.”

Many of the commenters on Slaton’s recent post were extremely supportive, offering kind words and praise.

“Look at you, girl! That is a JOURNEY”

“Holy wow! The transformation is incredible! So happy to see how far you have come I may have cried a little”

But some were less than impressed. One person commented, “I like Tammy, but she looks creepy in this picture lol.” Another simply added, “creepy.”

Seems like there will always be those who send negative comments no matter what Tammy does!
