I’m far from the only person fascinated by talent show contestants, especially the ones who are truly one in a million. Laura Bretan is just such a singer, and the 14-year-old knocks the “America’s Got Talent” judges out every time she sings.
Still, nothing is guaranteed, especially when a young singer is attempting to sing a difficult song in front of the judges and a large studio audience. So when Laura sings “The Prayer,” she’s nervous at first. Especially since the song has been covered by singers like Josh Groban and Celine Dion.
But as soon as Laura hits the first high note, she owns the song. And she really makes you wonder how someone can have so much vocal power in such a small body. It’s goosebump-inducing and something that all music lovers should check out.
