Dolly Parton makes bold prediction about Beyoncé’s upcoming album

With just a few weeks to go until the release of Beyoncé’s second act to her three-act project that began in 2022 with her “Renaissance” album, country legend Dolly Parton is giving Beyoncé fans a hint at what they could expect on the megastar’s album.

Keep reading to see Parton’s prediction.

The Queen of Nashville told the Knoxville News Sentinel that Beyoncé may have covered one of Parton’s most covered songs.

“I think she’s recorded ‘Jolene’ and I think it’s probably gonna be on her country album, which I’m very excited about that,” Parton said. “I love her! She’s a beautiful girl and a great singer.”

Whether or not Beyoncé has covered the song remains to be determined; however, Parton “hopes,” the “Texas Hold ‘Em” singer included a version on her latest release.

During a 2022 appearance on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah, she told the host how she would love to hear Beyoncé perform “Jolene.”

“I would just love to hear ‘Jolene’ done in just a big way, kind of like how Whitney (Houston) did my ‘I Will Always Love You.’”

“Just someone that can take my little songs and make them like powerhouses. That would be a marvelous day in my life if she ever does do ‘Jolene.’”

It’s possible Parton may just get her wish!

I think Beyoncé would do a beautiful job covering “Jolene,” so I really hope Dolly Parton is right. I can barely wait until her new album comes out!
