She survived a crash that killed 107 people – 12 yrs later, she floors Simon with her voice

In 2005, when she was 16 years old, Kechi was in a plane crash that killed 107 people.

She and one other person were the only survivors.

Hospital-bound and severely injured, Kechi turned to music to process the trauma and get her through the aftermath of the tragedy.

“Lying in the hospital bed, not being able to move or do anything, music was my escape,” Kechi said. “That’s why it means so much to me.”

Four years after the crash, Kechi returned to college and graduated with highest honors.

Twelve years after the crash and 100 operations later, Kechi gathered her strength and appeared on “America’s Got Talent.”

It would be a performance that few will ever forget…

Not only did Kechi share her amazing survival story, she also showed everyone what a wonderful voice she has.

After Kechi’s powerful performance of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” even Simon Cowell got out of his chair and gave her a standing ovation.

None of the judges expected that Kechi would have such talent and such a wonderful voice!

Kechi’s performance hit me straight in the heart. What a strong, courageous, and wonderful young woman she is!

Please share this performance with everyone we know—because everyone should have the opportunity to hear Kechi’s voice and discover this talented singer!
