A seven-year-old boy is in custody after setting fire to his family home while his parents were asleep inside.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department in West Virginia, the boy intentionally set to the house.
The department shared a photo of the inferno on their Facebook page.
Everyone made it out of the house, though two individuals suffered minor burns.
While they stated the boy had been arrested and charged with 1st degree arson, the sheriff’s department said no further information would be made public given the sensitive nature of the subject.
How horrible! We don’t know the specifics of this particular case, but whatever they may be I hope everyone involved gets the help they need.
