Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested last week but was released some hours later. Now, it’s been revealed that the former prince has been banned from doing his favorite activity.
Former Prince Andrew, now known as Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, has long been connected to late convicted sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein. While no arrests have been made through that connection, last week, the 66-year-old was arrested last week on suspicion of misconduct in public office.
On Thursday, police officers entered his home at Wood Farm at the Sandringham estate.
The Thames Valley Police released a statement after Andrew Monutbatten-Windsor was arrested. They said it was assessing a complaint over the alleged sharing of confidential material with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Andrew has consistently denied any wrongdoing.
“As part of the investigation, we have today (19/2) arrested a man in his sixties from Norfolk on suspicion of misconduct in public office and are carrying out searches at addresses in Berkshire and Norfolk,” The Thames Valley Police said.

Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright added, “Following a thorough assessment, we have now opened an investigation into this allegation of misconduct in public office. It is important that we protect the integrity and objectivity of our investigation as we work with our partners to investigate this alleged offence.

He concluded, “We understand the significant public interest in this case, and we will provide updates at the appropriate time.’”
Later that day, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was released and was free to resume his daily life. However, he is still under investigation and could be brought in for more questioning.
The former prince, who was stripped of his royal titles by his brother, King Charles, has rarely been seen in public in recent years except for paparazzi pictures of him riding horses. But now, claims are being made that he has been banned from his favorite pastime.
The Sun reports that officials believe it would look bad if he were seen smiling on horseback while still under investigation.
A source, quoted by The Sun, said, “Since his arrest last week he has been ordered not to go horse riding. It’s considered a bad look..”
