Barbara Eden, 94, looks ‘ageless’ in rare new photo with husband

Courageous, classy, and kind.

Barbara Eden is a good role model for anyone wishing to be a better human being.

And at 94 years old, the beloved I Dream of Jeannie star is once again proving that true Hollywood icons never fade.

Barbara Eden has a light that truly shines from within, and she remains grounded and grateful. Throughout her long career, she has stayed clear of Hollywood drama— no scandals, no chaos —and continues to go strong, even now at 94 years old.

The I Dream of Jeannie star recently shared a new photo on Instagram, and fans couldn’t believe their eyes.

In the snap, Eden and her husband Jon Eicholtz are seen celebrating Easter together, both wearing playful bunny ears. But while the festive moment drew smiles, it was Eden’s youthful appearance that truly stole the spotlight.

Fans flooded the comments with praise:

“She looks amazing. I want to know her secret,” one follower wrote.

Still gorgeous and ageless!!!” another added.

“Ageless beauty for sure,” a third chimed in.

”She doesn’t look anywhere near her age of 94,” a fourth person said.

A timeless star

Eden’s career has spanned decades, but for many, she will always be remembered as the magical genie who captured hearts in the 1960s sitcom.

The show followed astronaut Major Tony Nelson, played by Larry Hagman, who discovers a genie in a bottle — sparking a love story that became television history.

The series debuted in 1965 and ran for five seasons, launching Eden into global stardom.

Even today, she’s still amazed by the show’s lasting impact.

“I didn’t realize how popular ‘Jeannie’ was until several years after, and it still amazes me,” Eden told People in last year.

“I can’t believe it. I have mail from Russia. Can you imagine? I have fan mail from Russia, China, Japan, Poland, Italy, Germany, South America and the U.K. If you had told me that when we were shooting, I wouldn’t have believed it.”

Now living a quieter life with her husband and their dog, Eden still embraces the magic that made her famous.

Fans often ask her to recreate Jeannie’s iconic arm-folding gesture, and sometimes even join in themselves.

“It’s magic,” she said. “They always want magic. Magic is good.”

Surprising behind-the-scenes secret

Eden has also revealed a lesser-known detail about the early days of I Dream of Jeannie, why the show initially aired in black and white before switching to color.

“I was going to have a baby,” she explained. “And, so, they started fast. I think they thought I was going to die or something. They didn’t want to invest the money in color.”

For years, fans assumed it was due to concerns about special effects. But in reality, producers were trying to hide her pregnancy.

“The same day that ‘I Dream of Jeannie’ sold, the doctor told me I was pregnant,” she recalled. “I was thrilled. I was so happy, but I knew they’d have to replace me. Well, God love [creator] Sidney Sheldon. He got to work, and we did the first 13 shows with me pregnant.”

Decades after first appearing on screen, Barbara Eden continues to captivate audiences—not just with nostalgia, but with her undeniable charm and presence.

And if this latest photo proves anything, it’s that some stars truly are timeless. ✨
