It seems that the Governor of California Gavin Newsom has watched Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr and Kid Rock’s video where they are working out together and decided it was ‘inappropriate’, which led him to ban the singer in his state.
Kid Rock has been consistently making headlines lately. Earlier this month, he was accused of lip-syncing during the All-American Halftime Show organized by Turning Point USA as an alternative to the Super Bowl’s halftime show featuring Bad Bunny.
Now another video of the singer is making rounds which features him and Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy.
The video also caught the attention of California Governor, Gavin Newsom. He has since apparently ‘banned’ Kid Rock from his state. He posted on X on February 21, the ‘Official account for the press office of @CAGovernor Gavin Newsom #CaliforniaForAll’ wrote: “I HAVE SEEN ENOUGH. AS GOVERNOR OF THE FREE WORLD, I, GAVIN C. NEWSOM, AM OFFICIALLY BANNING “KID ROCK” FROM CALIFORNIA.
“HIS SHIRTLESS VIDEO WITH ‘SECRETARY BRAINWORM’ WAS INAPPROPRIATE, CREEPY, AND VERY LOW ENERGY. NOT WHAT YOU WANT AROUND OUR CHILDREN!”
Newsom then critiqued Kid Rock’s push-up form, saying it was ‘some of the weakest’ he’s ‘ever witnessed.’ He went on to say further that, “CALIFORNIA ONLY ALLOWS WINNERS! I AM ALSO BANNING WORKING OUT IN JEANS, VERY STRANGE! THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER! — GOVERNOR GCN.”
In the video, Kennedy Jr and Kid Rock are going to the gym to work out. In the caption, it says, “I’ve teamed up with Kid Rock to deliver two simple messages to the American people: GET ACTIVE + EAT REAL FOOD.”
In the video, the duo can be seen helping each other with various weight machines before they head to the sauna, where they take their shirts off.
They then jump into a pool and cheer one another with glasses of ‘whole milk’.
This seems like a humorous exchange from the Californian governor. What do you think? Let us know in the comments section on Facebook!
