David and Victoria Beckham share ‘sad’ Father’s Day message with son Brooklyn

Brooklyn Beckham stayed silent on Father’s Day, but David Beckham made sure his estranged son was included in a heartfelt message telling all four of his children “I love you all.”

As the Beckham family feud shows no signs of easing, David and Victoria Beckham spent Father’s Day celebrating the former soccer star’s role as a dad while sharing throwback photos featuring all four of their children – including 27-year-old Brooklyn, who noticeably stayed silent on the special day for dads.

Even with tensions lingering behind the scenes, both parents made a point of putting family first in their public posts.

‘Best daddy’

The 52-year-old Spice Girl honored her husband with a post on social media featuring old family photographs, including one showing David with sons Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz and daughter Harper.

“David, you truly are the best daddy,” she wrote on June 21, 2026.

“Your greatest achievement has always been our beautiful children and we love you so much. Happy Father’s Day.”

David, 51, shared a tribute of his own, posting a black-and-white throwback photo of his children together, along with individual snapshots with each of them.

“Being a dad is my most important job… I love you all & thank you mummy [Victoria Beckham] for giving me our beautiful family. Happy Father’s Day to all the Dads around the world,” he wrote on Facebook.

Children shared their love

Cruz, 21, shared a series of throwback photos with his dad and thanked him for being his inspiration.

“Happy Father’s Day Dad, you continue to inspire me every day. You really are the best role model to have, I love you so much,” the second-youngest Beckham wrote on Instagram.

Romeo, 23, also paid tribute to “the best” father with a sweet message of his own: “Happy Father’s Day to the best there is love you so much.”

Harper, who turns 15 in July, was seen in an Instagram story giving her dad a spa day with a “hair wash for dad.”

One child, however, had nothing to say.

Brooklyn’s continued silence

Brooklyn did not publicly acknowledge Father’s Day, the latest sign that his feud with his famous parents remains unresolved.

Earlier this year, the aspiring chef accused David and Victoria of prioritizing “Brand Beckham” over family.

“My family values public promotion and endorsements above all else. Brand Beckham comes first. Family ‘love’ is decided by how much you post on social media, or how quickly you drop everything to show up and pose for a family photo opp, even if it’s at the expense of our professional obligations,” he wrote in a lengthy statement shared on Instagram, per People.

“We’ve gone out of our way for years to show up and support at every fashion show, every party, and every press activity to show ‘our perfect family,’” the statement continued.

Parents continued support

Despite the estrangement, both the soccer star and the fashionista have continued to publicly express support for their eldest son, including sharing a loving message on his 27th birthday in March.

“27 Today,” the co-owner of professional soccer club Inter Miami wrote with a teary-eyed smiling emoji. The post included a throwback photo of him and Victoria holding a young Brooklyn in the pool: “We love you x,” he concluded.

Meanwhile, Victoria shared her own birthday wishes: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” the founder of Victoria Beckham Beauty penned.

Away from social media, sources say both sides have struggled to find a way forward.

A source close to the Beckhams previously told People that David and Victoria have tried to repair the relationship with Brooklyn and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.

“David and Victoria have repeatedly asked Brooklyn and Nicola to meet and talk in order to move forward,” the insider said.

“David loves his kids. They are his everything.”

Family drama back in the spotlight

The Father’s Day posts came just days after Brooklyn appeared in a DoorDash campaign tied to the 2026 FIFA World Cup, reigniting debate over whether he was using the ongoing family drama as part of the promotion.

In the ad, the founder of Cloud23 hot sauce addressed fans directly, teasing that there was a reason he would not be attending any live matches – especially since his iconic father appeared at three FIFA World Cups through his career.

“You’re probably wondering why I’m watching the FIFA World Cup 2026 from home. It’s not like I don’t have tickets,” he said, adding, “It’s because…it’s a long story.”

He then handed the bag with the highly coveted tickets to a delivery driver.

“This can go to someone else,” Brooklyn said with a cheeky smile, asking that the tickets go somewhere “fun.”
