Fox reporter hits back with savage response as protester calls her “Nazi b***h” on live broadcast

A Fox News reporter fired back live on air after an anti-ICE protester repeatedly called her a “Nazi b***h” during a tense broadcast outside a New Jersey detention facility.

Protesters clashed with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents outside Delaney Hall in Newark, a privately owned, 1,000-bed facility where inhumane conditions have been alleged for months.

According to reports, roughly 300 detainees had taken part in a hunger and labor strike that started May 22 over complaints including spoiled food and poor treatment.

“They’re given rotten frozen food, or in the case of last week, they found live worms in their food, we’re also hearing of people being denied toilet paper,” activist Catalina Adorno told ABC 7 of her support.

DHS denies claims

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has rejected allegations that detainees are being mistreated at Delaney Hall, accusing “sanctuary politicians” of “spreading smears against [the] ICE facility.”

“All detainees are provided with 3 meals a day, clean water, clothing, bedding, showers, soap, and toiletries,” DHS said in a May 25 news release about New Jersey’s Delaney Hall. The agency also defended access to communication and medical standards inside the facility.

“Illegal aliens also have access to phones to communicate with their family members and lawyers. Certified dieticians evaluate meals. In fact, ICE has higher detention standards than most U.S. prisons that hold actual U.S. citizens.”

Despite those denials, the protests outside the facility have grown larger in recent days as demonstrators continue calling attention to complaints from detainees and their attorneys.

New Jersey politicians visit facility

The unrest has also drawn attention from several New Jersey political leaders.

Sen. Andy Kim and Reps. Rob Menendez and Nellie Pou also visited the facility separately, while Gov. Mikie Sherrill tried to visit over the weekend but was reportedly denied access.

Kim later said he was hit with pepper spray while trying to calm a confrontation outside Delaney Hall after a congressional oversight visit inside the facility.

“My throat’s burning. My eyes are burning. But again, it’s not about me…Several (detainees) have told me that they are being threatened with retaliation, saying that if you continue with this protest, we will transfer you, we will cut off visitation rights with family,” Kim said, per ABC 7.

Fox News reporter confronted

As the protests continued, Fox News correspondent Alexis McAdams was reporting live from outside Delaney Hall when an unidentified protester moved toward her and started shouting into the broadcast.

“You are a protester who’s been out here and you have a dirty mouth,” McAdams said told the activist during the segment.

The protester responded, “You’re a Nazi b**ch.”

McAdams did not end the live shot. Instead, she used the moment to show viewers what reporters were dealing with on the ground.

“Okay, so that’s just what we deal with. So just for people that want to know what it’s like to cover these protests, it’s constant with this,” McAdams added.

The protester then yelled: “People inside are dying, and you’re lying!”

McAdams continued reporting, telling viewers: “This is what these people do. They want people who are in this country illegally to be released out onto the streets. DHS says that’s what they’re gonna not be doing.”

The protester kept shouting “Nazi b**ch” while pointing toward the camera, and McAdams eventually held the microphone toward her mouth as the insults continued.

Back in the studio, Fox News host Will Cain mocked what he called the “eloquent argument made against the presence of Alexis McAdams.”
