Influencer’s two-year-old drowns after ‘thinking she could swim’ – family shares heartbreaking update

Influencer and father of nine Jamal Morton, 33, has shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram after his two-year-old daughter tragically drowned.

Morton’s social media content usually consists of funny, lighthearted parenting videos, but that suddenly took a devastating turn when every parent’s worst nightmare became reality.

His two-year-old daughter tragically died in a drowning accident at the family’s Georgia home, the influencer confirmed on social media.

“She thought she was a big girl and could swim all by herself. She walked out of the house and got into the pool where she drowned,” he said, according to LADbible.

“Daddy loves you forever”

Following the tragedy, Morton shared an emotional tribute to his daughter.

“You were the best daughter a father could ever ask for. Losing a child is a pain I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. I hate to make this post but y’all won’t be seeing me for a while. I have to take a break. I lost my daughter,” he wrote.

“I hope heaven is real because i can’t imagine you being all alone by yourself. So god if you’re real please watch over my baby. Rest in Peace my sweet angel. Daddy loves you forever Rose.”

The exact circumstances surrounding the drowning remain unclear, and it is unknown whether authorities are investigating the incident.

In the wake of the loss, Morton also launched a GoFundMe, explaining that his family hopes to move out of their home following the tragedy.

“Please help us send her home. We have to move away because we can’t live in that house anymore, and I don’t think I’ll ever be able to work anytime soon. Anything helps,” the page reads.

Rest in peace.
