Chilling new images of convicted murderer Wade Wilson—dubbed the Deadpool Killer due to his name matching that of the Marvel antihero—have surfaced following his sentencing to death row.
Wilson was found guilty of the brutal 2019 murders of Kristine Melton, 35, and Diane Ruiz, 43, in Florida.
According to court records, Wilson strangled Melton to death in her Cape Coral home before stealing her car. Later, when Ruiz asked him for directions, he lured her into the vehicle, strangled her, threw her from the car, and ran her over repeatedly.
During police questioning, Wilson offered a chilling confession: “I choked her out until she couldn’t breathe anymore… It came across my mind to murder, just kill, kill, kill.”
In court, 10 out of 12 jurors voted in favor of the death penalty. Wilson is now in the custody of the Florida Department of Corrections, awaiting the outcome of his appeals process—a process that, on average, takes 13.22 years for death row inmates in Florida.
Unsettling New Images from Prison
Between 2023 and 2024, Wilson had access to a prison-issued tablet at Lee County Jail. According to the New York Post, these tablets automatically capture an image each time they are used.

The photos, obtained via a Freedom of Information request and later shared by vlogger Melissa Jade on YouTube, reveal a drastically altered Wilson, per The Daily Mail.
- One image shows him with a thick bandage wrapped around his forehead and noticeably longer hair.
- Another depicts Wilson appearing bloated and missing teeth.
Legal Proceedings and Wilson’s Chilling Request
Florida County’s Circuit Judge Nicholas R. Thompson described Wilson’s crimes as “heinous, atrocious, and cruel,” stating that the second murder was cold, calculated, and premeditated.
Throughout his sentencing, Wilson displayed no emotion—a reaction forensic psychologist Dr. John Paul Garrison suggested was a sign of deep anxiety and stress, rather than indifference.
Before Wilson was led from the courtroom, his legal team made a striking request on his behalf.

“I understand he has other cases pending here and elsewhere,” his lawyer told the judge. “But Mr. Wilson asked me to ask the court—within whatever authority you have—to get him to death row as soon as possible.”
Wilson is also facing separate legal proceedings for an unrelated attempted escape from jail, with hearings set to begin no earlier than 16 September.
For now, the so-called Deadpool Killer sits behind bars—awaiting his fate.
