A high-powered New York lawyer has found himself at the center of a viral scandal after a TikToker filmed him allegedly kissing a colleague in Central Park, just 30 blocks from the apartment he shares with his wife.
Nathaniel D. Cullerton, 45, is a partner at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz, one of the most prestigious law firms in the United States.
The woman seen with him in the video is Kelsey Borenzweig, 29, an associate at the same firm who works alongside him in the litigation department.
The pair had been photographed together just months earlier walking into court during the high-profile OpenAI case, in which they helped CEO Sam Altman defeat a civil lawsuit brought by Elon Musk.
A TikToker captured the moment
The footage was captured and posted by TikToker Jay Guapo, who has 3.5 million followers, and racked up millions of views almost immediately. In the clip, Guapo approaches the pair near Billionaires’ Row and jokes:
“Get a room, there’s kids watching.”
Cullerton turns toward the camera with a confused smile. Borenzweig looks equally caught off guard. The two then attempt to get Guapo to stop filming, telling him to “put the phone down,” a request he predictably ignores.
Viewers quickly identified both individuals, sending the clip into viral territory and sparking widespread discussion in New York’s elite legal circles.
The Coldplay comparison
The incident is being widely compared to one of the biggest viral moments of 2025, when two colleagues were filmed getting intimate at a Coldplay concert despite both having partners at home.
That video sparked a global media frenzy and ultimately cost both individuals their jobs.
Whether this latest video will have similar consequences remains to be seen. Cullerton was approached outside his building last week and stayed silent when asked whether his wife had seen the footage.
His wife, Moira Penza, is herself a partner at another top New York law firm, Wilkinson Stekloff. The couple married in February 2016.
The other relationships involved
Borenzweig had previously been in a relationship with Adam Littleston-Luria, a judicial law clerk.
A source told the Daily Mail the relationship ended months ago. Littleston-Luria is the only person connected to the video to have commented publicly, telling the publication he was aware of it but not comfortable discussing it. When asked directly whether he was still with Borenzweig, he repeated the same answer and ended the call.
Law firms typically discourage romantic relationships between partners and associates, requiring staff to disclose such arrangements to HR. It is not known when Cullerton and Borenzweig’s alleged relationship began.
