A MAGA supporter was devastated and brought to tears after spending $640 on a Trump watch. The moment it arrived, he realized it was missing a crucial feature.
Tim Petit, from Middletown, Rhode Island, heard an ad about a $640 pink limited-edition Trump-themed watch from GetTrumpWatches.com. He decided to surprise his wife, Melanie, with it. However, things turned to disappointment – and tears – as the watch arrived, per NBC10.
“I just thought it was really nice. It was beautiful. And I knew it would be something that she’d like,” Tim Petit told NBC 10. “One of 250. So that attracted me. With the president’s voice hawking the watches. I was curious, so I went on to the website.”
President Donald Trump has sold various items since taking office, including watches, Bibles, and phones. His wife, Melania, has also earned money. This has sparked debate about whether the President should sell anything while in office.
Trump has also been called a gourmand due to the prices and quality of his products. The White House denies claims that Trump profited from his time in office.

Regarding the limited-edition watch, sold in only 250 copies, Donald Trump’s voice can also be heard in video ads for the website, saying, “It’s Trump time.”

When it finally arrived, Tim Petit presented his wife, Melanie, with the pink Inauguration First Lady model watch. Upon opening it, they were immediately surprised.
“It has a nice little case. It has the pink and little fireworks on it,” Melanie explained to NBC10. However, it didn’t take long before they realized something was missing.
“I noticed it right away. The T is missing. It just says R-U-M-P.”
They were disappointed to find that instead of “TRUMP,” the watch face read “RUMP.”
“I’m very disappointed. I wanted to do a special thing for her,” Petit told the news outlet. “And we expected that it would have the integrity of the President of the United States and good follow-through.”
He added, “An apology would be nice for making my wife cry.”

GetTrumpWatches.com markets the products as “official watches” of President Trump, though the fine print states that the Trump name and likeness are only licensed.
Got it replaced as it read “Rump” instead of “Trump”
The site notes that the watches are not designed, made, or sold by Trump, the Trump Organization, or any related entities.
As of Tuesday, Petit had been trying to reach the website’s owners several times but was not satisfied with the lack of response. However, after NBC10 reached out to the company’s customer service, things began to move.
In the end, Petit got the watch replaced. The company apologized and also offered him an $800 coupon for something else.
