Olympic Gold medalist Tori Bowie looked ‘heavily pregnant’ before she died, reports says

The world is still mourning American sprinter and long jumper Tori Bowie.

The three-time Olympic medalist and a two-time world champion in track and field died on May 2.

Now further heartbreaking details have emerged about the final moments of the 32-year-old’s life.

Tori Bowie shone like a bright star during the 2016 Rio Olympics, leaving a lasting impression on the world with her incredible sprinting abilities. With her sheer determination and unwavering focus, she earned a silver medal in the 100 meters, a bronze in the 200 meters, and a gold as part of the United States team in the 4×100 meters relay.

Her remarkable achievements filled the hearts of millions with pride and joy, and cemented her legacy as one of the greatest sprinters of all time.

Following her retirement from international competition in 2019, it appeared that Bowie struggled to adapt to a more “normal” way of life. On Wednesday, the former track and field star was found dead in her home in Florida, after a welfare check was carried out by Orange County deputies.

“We’re devasted [sic] to share the very sad news that Tori Bowie has passed away,” an Instagram post from Bowie’s representation and Holland’s company, Icon Management Inc., said.

“We’ve lost a client, dear friend, daughter and sister. Tori was a champion…a beacon of light that shined so bright! We’re truly heartbroken and our prayers are with the family, friends and everyone that loved her.”

In a social media post just days before the tragedy, Tori sister, Tamarra, wrote: ”People who pretend to be happy have some of the saddest souls and people who do not try to convince the world that they are happy have the most genuine souls, because they are content with just being them for them and nobody else.”
