OnlyFans owner Leonid Radvinsky dies at 43

Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of the online platform OnlyFans, has died at the age of 43.

OnlyFans is a subscription-based platform, primarily known for adult and explicit content. Users pay for access to creators’ content through subscriptions or pay-per-view, and the platform takes a share of the earnings.

On Monday, OnlyFans confirmed Radvinsky’s death in a statement. “We are deeply saddened to announce the death of Leo Radvinsky,” the statement read, according to VT.

“Leo passed away peacefully after a long battle with cancer,” it continued, adding: “His family have requested privacy at this difficult time.”

According to VT, OnlyFans processed $319 million in payments in 2019. By 2023, that figure had grown to over $8 billion, reflecting the platform’s rapid growth.

Radvinsky purchased OnlyFans in 2018, two years after the platform was launched by British father-and-son duo Guy and Tim Stokely. Since then, OnlyFans has become a major player in subscription-based content platforms, attracting creators and subscribers from around the world.

Radvinsky kept his battle with cancer largely private.According to the New York Post, he maintained a low profile and valued his privacy, despite his status as a billionaire.

According to Variety, he was born in Ukraine and grew up in Chicago. Radvinsky held a bachelor’s degree in economics from Northwestern University and was an angel investor in multiple companies. He also supported several philanthropic projects globally.
