Arkansas police are hoping some wild footage captured by a tractor trailer’s camera can help the public identify the person who fired several shots at the truck as it drove along Interstate 55 in Crittenden County.
The incident occurred on July 2.
The shooting occurred as the truck driver passed a Chevrolet Malibu parked in the right lane on a bridge. The suspect leaned out of the driver’s side window and fired multiple shots towards the truck.
The suspect then sped away.
It was all captured on camera.
According to reports, the truck driver, who reported the incident when he reached Tennessee, was not injured, but the truck sustained some damage.
Officials do not have much information to go on, but hope someone knows the person responsible. That’s why they’re asking for help in identifying the suspect.
There is currently a $2,000 reward, and anyone with information is urged to contact Crittenden County Crime Stoppers at (870) 732-4444.
I do hope this person is caught so that they don’t endanger anyone else’s life.
