Bruce Willis has been having a tough time in the last few years after his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia. The actor has stepped out of the limelight, but rare glimpses of him from his family still exist.

Last year, Rumer Willis gave birth to her daughter Louetta Isley, making both Hollywood A-listers Demi Moore and Bruce Willis into first-time grandparents! The family, as is to be expected, is in love with the little girl who is the first grandchild in the family!
Willis is incredibly public about her journey with her pregnancy, the birth, and her daughter’s progress and growth in the year she has been earth-side!
To commemorate her daughter’s first birthday, the first-time mom took to Instagram to make a heartfelt post. She posted a bevy of pictures of the birthday girl at different stages of her young life and so pre-natal.
Some of the pictures featured close family, including one of the birthday girl with her grandfather, Bruce Willis. The picture featured the Die Hard actor as he cradled the baby girl.
People loved the image of the actor with his granddaughter. One fan wrote, “I love the picture of her and your father. How sweet.” While another added, “The picture with Bruce is so beautiful.”
Many people seemed to agree on one thing, little Lou has a major resemblance to her mom, “She is the image of you,” one person wrote. Another added, “she really looks like you when you were that age.” Another comment agreeing to this said, “She looks just like you!! So precious!”
In the caption, Rumer wrote, “Oh my tiny tender daughter, I CANT BELIEVE YOU ARE 1. This last year with you has been the best year of my life. Lou, I have never known a love like yours. You are the most delicious, most beautiful, smartest, funniest, sweetest girl I know.”
The caption went on, “I can’t believe you choose me to be your mama oh my goodness. Every day you grow and learn more and you are my greatest teacher and my deepest love. You are a gift to every one you meet and your smile is almost blinding it’s so magical. Your laugh is my favorite sound in the whole wide world. Your tiny kisses are the best thing to wake up to. I love you so deep in my bones my tiny daughter. I can’t wait to see what this next year brings!!”
Rumer thanked her mother, Demi Moore in the post as well for “being the best Ya Ya I could ask for.” She mentioned her younger sisters as well, Scout and Tallulah for “being the greatest aunties.” She also gave a shoutout to her dad Bruce Willis and his wife Emma Heming Willis, for “being bonus Gma.”
She also made sure to talk about her musician boyfriend Derek Richard Thomas, with whom she shares little Lou. She called him “the greatest gift of my life.”
“She is so lucky to have you as her papa. 💕 I can’t believe our baby girl is 1 🥳,” she wrote.
While Bruce has disappeared from the public eye and has been forced to quit his acting career due to his diagnosis of frontotemporal dementia, it is good to see that he is still spending precious moments with his family.
