Sarah Palin was on everyone’s radar in 2008 as the Republican vice presidential nominee alongside U.S. Senator John McCain. Since then she has become a national sensation as a public figure.
A lot of people were shocked when the former Alaskan Governor announced she was getting divorced… but it seems like she might finally be moving on…
Sarah Palin and her husband of 32 years Todd Palin divorced in 2020, a move which shocked millions of people. And perhaps the person who was most surprised was Sarah Palin herself.
Later, the former Governor opened up about the ordeal. She revealed her ex-husband had an interesting way of telling her the marriage was over. In her interview she said, “It was the most earth-shattering, bizarre thing I could have ever imagined and it kind of remains so,” referring to the email she got from her husband’s lawyer about his intentions to leave her.
She also talked about how she does not see her ex-husband or maintain any sort of relationship with him because he “spends his time with his girlfriend whom he’s had for some time now.”

But now, Palin has moved on as well. She is dating the former New York Rangers player Ron Duguay. The two began talking to one another when Palin reached out to him for some legal advice pertaining to a lawsuit.
The trial took place in New York, where Palin spent time with Duguay. The two would explore the city with one another. Palin said, “On my free time, he would walk all over New York and he would show me what he and the Rangers did back in the day, or at least where they did it.”
Palin revealed that she shares a very intimate and special bond with him. She said, “Ron is the first person that I’ve ever even talked to about a lot of this personal stuff. So it’s been helpful and refreshing to have Ron to talk to about not just politics, because he’s got more common sense in his little finger than the collective in DC, but just about life.”
He also supports her career and ambitions. As Palin campaigned for a seat as a representative for Alaska in the US House, Duguay was next to her throughout. She said, “He came to help me get my yard and property in order because he knows how busy I am with bustling down the campaign.”
It is beautiful and heartwarming to see Sarah Palin finally find love again. After her heartbreaking divorce, she really deserved it!
