Erika Kirk canceled a Turning Point event appearance after receiving serious threats. Next week, she is set to appear at Pinnacle High School in Phoenix, Arizona. But before the visit, she is already receiving heavy criticism from some students.
Erika Kirk has made many public appearances since the tragic death of her husband, Charlie Kirk, who was gunned down during a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley College last year.

Per Fox News, Erika Kirk was “worried” about “some threats.” Later, Erika Kirk took to social media to share her view.
“I was so looking forward to tonight’s event at the University of Georgia with our Vice President, but after all our family has been through, I take my security team’s recommendations extremely seriously,” Erika Kirk wrote. “Thank you to our amazing Georgia chapter for your support. God bless you all!”
Teens revolt over Erika Kirk’s controversial high school visit
On Friday, April 24, Erika Kirk will visit another school. This time, the Pinnace High School in Phoenix, Arizona. However, her visit doesn’t seem to be a popular one among some students.
“I don’t know why she’s coming here, to be honest,” Francisco Sanchez, a senior at Pinnacle High School, told 12 News Phoenix. “I think the topics that she talks about are too extremist for a school. I think there are better representatives we can have.”
Another senior, Kasanda Acosta, added,” It’s a little crazy because I would never have expected someone like her to show up at a high school. I’m pretty shocked. Honestly, I’m surprised it’s even happening.
Per The Arizona Republic, parents of students enrolled at the school have been informed that security will be tighter this week. Still, some parents have demanded that the school move Erika Kirk’s appearance to after-school hours.
“It’s not just your average citizen coming over to speak to the club. She brings politics with her, she brings division with her, just because everybody in America is divided,” Bobbe Noland, a parent of a Pinnacle student, told The Arizona Republic.
Massive security
A police spokesperson told 12 News that since Eirka Kirk’s visit to Pinnacle High Sschool, the event organizers are responsible for security.
“We regularly work with community partners to support public safety during gatherings. As with any event, our officers will continue to monitor activity, review available information, and adjust deployment strategies as needed to help ensure a safe environment for students, staff, and the surrounding community,” a police spokesperson said in a statement.
