Only hours after announcing a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, President Donald Trump went on an explosive rant, claiming the two countries “don’t know what the f*** they’re doing.”
On the evening of June 23, President Trump shared a post on Truth Social, claiming the situation between Israel and Iran was de-escalating.
“It has been fully agreed by and between Israel and Iran that there will be a Complete and Total CEASEFIRE (in approximately 6 hours from now, when Israel and Iran have wound down and completed their in progress, final missions!), for 12 hours, at which point the War will be considered, ENDED!” he insisted.
“Officially, Iran will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 12th Hour, Israel will start the CEASEFIRE and, upon the 24th Hour, an Official END to THE 12 DAY WAR will be saluted by the World…This is a War that could have gone on for years, and destroyed the entire Middle East, but it didn’t, and never will!”
Ceasefire breach
Just hours after Trump claimed he had personally halted Israeli airstrikes to preserve a fragile truce, both Iranian and Israeli media are now reporting fresh Israeli attacks on Iranian targets, Reuters reports.
Explosions rocked Tehran, according to Iran’s Mizan news agency, and Israeli army radio reported a direct hit on a radar facility near the capital city – effectively shattering any illusion that the ceasefire was holding.

‘Do not drop those bombs’
Pointing fingers at both Israel and Iran for shattering the ceasefire, the President saved his sharpest criticism for Israel.
“All planes will turn around and head home, while doing a friendly ‘Plane Wave’ to Iran. Nobody will be hurt, the Ceasefire is in effect!” Trump wrote in a Truth Social early on June 24.
“Israel. Do not drop those bombs. If you do it, it is a major violation. Bring your pilots home, now!” he wrote in a separate post.
The attacks happened minutes after he shared those posts.
‘I’m not happy’
Later in the morning, before boarding his plane for a trip to a NATO summit in The Hague, Trump didn’t hold back when speaking to reporters on the lawn of the White House.
“They don’t know what the f*** they’re doing,” he snapped, clearly fed up with both sides after a tense missile exchange that had the world on edge.
“They violated it, but Israel violated it too. As soon as we made the deal Israel came out and dropped a load of bombs the likes of which I had never seen before. The biggest load that we have seen.”
“I’m not happy with Israel, when I say you have 12 hours you don’t go out in the first hour and just drop everything you have on them.” Expressing his displeasure, he added, “So I am not happy with them, I am not happy with Iran either but I am really unhappy if Israel is going out this morning.”
“I’ve got to get Israel to calm down now,” Trump told reporters as he left the White House.
With tensions soaring in the Middle East and diplomacy in tatters, Trump’s fury set the tone for what’s shaping up to be a high-stakes week on the global stage.
