VIP guests at Donald Trump’s star-studded inauguration were treated to a fabulous swag bag that contained some of the president’s favorite things, like an autographed portrait of himself, his preferred drink and one very bizarre item…
Donald Trump’s 2025 inauguration was a grand affair, and for VIP guests lucky enough to score an invitation, the perks were just as lavish as expected.
There were a number of famous faces at the Washington, D.C. event, including Tesla boss Elon Musk, Carrie Underwood, Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos, former President Barack Obama, former Vice President Kamala Harris and former First Lady Hillary Clinton.
Also present at the Trump family patriarch’s inauguration were his five children – Donald Jr., Eric, Ivanka, Tiffany and Barron – and of course his wife Melania.
Among the highlights of the celebration were the exclusive swag bags – brimming with carefully selected items designed to commemorate the historic event in true Trump fashion.
These exclusive keepsakes, packed with luxurious goodies and patriotic memorabilia, were the ultimate souvenirs for attendees who were personally invited by President Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance.
“Being invited to the inauguration for @realDonaldTrump and @JDVance came with the perks of an amazing swag bag,” writes tech expert Kenny Li, who shared a tweet of the official invitation along with images of some of the goodies found in the bag.
But what exactly is inside? Let’s take a closer look at the fabulous freebies gifted to the elite crowd at Trump’s inauguration.
Diet Coke
Diet Coke is one of the president’s go-to drinks and on his desk in the Oval Office is a red button – hidden in a wooden box – that he can press when he wants to order the “real magic” of Coca-Cola, according to Fox News.
So, it’s no surprise that VIP guests were treated to a custom-printed bottle of Diet Coke, labeled with the words:
“The inauguration of the President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, January 20, 2025.”
“Special-edition commemorative Diet Cokes, because RFK would flip if it was normal Cokes,” Li writes.
Leather accessories
Each guest received a striking red leather journal, matching coin pouch, and watch dish, all embossed with a stunning sketch of the U.S. Capitol. These items combined functionality with elegance, serving as a stylish reminder of the historic day.
Sparkly pins
Two pins, one blinged-out 47 and a second of the U.S. Capitol building, sparked a lot of interest from Li, who writes, “Two awesome pins that I’ll wear everywhere, already pinned on my sweater.”
Commemorative medal
A standout item in the swag bag was a limited-edition bronze-colored medal featuring the silhouettes of the president and Vice President J.D. Vance, Page Six reports. The reverse side of the medal proudly displayed their names – a must-have for collectors and supporters alike.
Autographed images
“Portraits to hang above my bed,” Li writes of two black and white autographed photos of Trump and Vance.
Blanket and towel
“A really nice blanket to feel the comfort and safety of America warming my body after years of darkness,” Li tweets. Also in the bag was a “thick face towel” that Li, the co-founder of Manta Network, says is “to help me wipe away all the dirt and grime that’s accumulated over the past 4 years.”
Hygiene
“Lotion, ChapStick and hand sanitizer to prevent any more pandemics,” Li writes of the small bottles printed with labels that show the capitol building.
Exclusive tumbler
Also in the goodie bag was a matte black tumbler with a gold image of the capitol, that Li gushes will allow him to “taste freedom with every morning sip.”
Hand warmers
The most bizarre item packed in the bag were two air-activated heat packs that keeps hands warm in chilly temperatures.
“Two packets of hand warmers so I can feel what it’s like to shake Donald Trump’s hands,” Li writes of the Hot Hands hand warmers.
The bag also included a canvas tote bag, which guests could use to hold all the goodies from the swag bag.
Kenny added: “10/10 swag bag. Would vote again. Only thing that would have made this bag better is finding some $trump coins inside. What else could’ve been inside the swag bag?”
