Making your bed isn’t exactly the funnest thing in the world.
But when the time comes, you might as well try to make it as fast and easy as possible.
So, I thought I’d share a trick that will save you both time and aggravation.
The truth is—a lot of people don’t actually have a clue how to do this. But hotel staff all over the world use it every day.
Start by spreading your duvet cover on your bed.
Then, lay your duvet on top of your duvet cover and roll them both from the head of the bed to the foot.
Roll from both sides of the bed to get an even “sausage.”
Fold the ends in on both sides.
Fasten the duvet cover if it has buttons or zippers.
When you’re done, it should look like this:
The rest is easy… Just roll out the duvet cover over the bed!
It is almost as though the duvet unrolls itself!
Shake out the duvet to make it smooth and nice!
Not bad, right? And it only takes a few minutes!

The method has different names. Some people call it the burrito method and others call it the California roll.
But whatever name you give it, it will make making the bed a lot easier!
