With this trick, hiring experts and buying expensive tools are a thing of the past.
All you need to make your wooden furniture new again are three things:
1 kitchen towel
Okay, let's begin!
Start by turning up your iron to its hottest setting. Then, dampen a tea towel and put it on the damaged surface.
Move your iron in circles over the tea towel and keep the affected area heated for about 10 seconds. If the towel dries out, add a little more water. You can use do this by misting the towel with your iron.
Repeat the process three times to remove the most serious scratches.
As the damp towel heats up, the wood fibers swell and become replenished from below. Thus, wooden surfaces become smooth again and ugly scratches are as good as gone.
This trick works on all wooden surfaces and only takes a few minutes. It's a great, easy trick that I'll definitely use on my own kitchen table!
