Adam Levine is returning to The Voice!
The longtime coach will return for the finale of the show’s 23rd season to perform with Maroon 5 and say goodbye to his friend Blake Shelton.
Levine and Shelton were both coaches when the show first premiered in 2011, and the two coached alongside each other for 16 seasons before the Maroon 5 lead singer left The Voice in 2019.
In October 2022, Shelton revealed his time on the show was up, and this season would be his last.
“I’ve been wrestling with this for a while and I’ve decided that it’s time for me to step away from ‘The Voice’ after Season 23,” he wrote on Instagram at the time.
When Levine returns to the singing competition he will perform Maroon 5’s newly released single “Middle Ground.” It will mark the group’s first release in two years.
The two-part season finale airs Monday, May 22, and Tuesday, May 23 at 8 p.m.
I love that Adam Levine and Blake Shelton will get to reunite one last time on The Voice. I wonder if there will be any other surprise guests during Blake’s final episode?
