Reba McEntire will be taking the field in Las Vegas this February as she has been selected to sing the national anthem before this year’s Super Bowl.
Post Malone will follow with his rendition of “America the Beautiful,” and Andra Day will wrap up the performances with “Lift Every Voice and Sing.”
McEntire shared the exciting news on her social media.
“I’m honored to be part of something as big and historic as the Super Bowl coming to Las Vegas for the first time!”
“2024 marks 50 years since I was discovered singing the national anthem at the National Finals Rodeo, and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate that anniversary,” she continued in a statement.
According to Taste of Country, 2024 marks the fourth year in a row the NFL has booked a country singer to perform the national anthem.
