It seems that everyone on the internet got carried away with what they were saying about the Princess of Wales in the last few weeks. Now, it seems that the truth has come out and some people are owning up to their mistakes.

After the Princess of Wales announced her cancer diagnosis this past Friday, it seems a lot of people who made jokes about her whereabouts felt bad about it as well.
“I’m sure no one cares today but I feel like I have to acknowledge this,” Blake wrote on her Instagram story. “I made a silly post around the ‘photoshop fails’ frenzy, and oh man, that post has me mortified today. I’m sorry. Sending love and well wishes to all, always.”
The situation began when people began wondering about Kate Middleton’s whereabouts since the royal had not been seen since her abdominal surgery in January.
Amid her absence, Kensington Palace released a picture of the princess with her three children for Mother’s Day in Britian. The picture had found to have been photoshopped. Photo agencies began pulling the image, citing that the image had been manipulated at the source.
Once this fact was revealed, people, including Blake Lively, began poking fun at the Princess.
Shortly after the picture had been identified as photoshopped, Kate issue an explanation. She wrote, “Like many amateur photographers, I do occasionally experiment with editing. I wanted to express my apologies for any confusion the family photograph we shared yesterday caused.”
Blake Lively tried to make a joke about the entire thing with an ad for her mocktail company. The picture has since then been deleted but it was a badly photoshopped image with a caption that read, “I’m so excited to share this new photo I just took today to announce our 4 new @bettybuzz & @bettybooze products. Now you know why I’ve been MIA.”
Days after Blake made the joke, the Princess of Wales opened up about her diagnosis. Kate shared with the world that she has been diagnosed with cancer and is undergoing treatment for it.
An outpouring of well wishes from the world over followed the video. With a lot of people apologizing for their jokes and speculation about her disappearance.
