The internet is buzzing after Christina Aguilera shared a social media clip that shows her steaming up the streets of Sardinia, Italy in a hot pink outfit.
The 43-year-old singer commanded the spotlight and fans, noticing that something is missing from her glamorous shots, suspects she’s taking a popular drug.

As a child, New York’s Christina was a regular cast member on the Mickey Mouse Club with famous co-stars like Ryan Gosling, Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake.
Speaking with Health, Aguilera, 43, reflects on her long career, that started when she was only 12.
“When I’m not working, there’s a heavy amount of guilt that I feel. It’s been embedded in me since I was little, you’re shamed if you don’t want to keep up,” she tells the outlet (through People). “As a child [entertainer], you’re all pitted against one another, and other children are all about that grind too. It’s a weird space to grow up in.”
Heavily immersed in that “space,” Aguilera, referred to as the “voice of a generation,” burst into the music scene with 1999’s “Genie in a bottle.”
Her impressive vocals, that spans four octaves, catapulted the petite teen into stardom, putting her on the world stage where the public watched her grow into a woman.
‘Very confident’
It also placed the “What a Girl Wants” singer in a position where she would be scrutinized over her fluctuating body weight.
But she tells Marie Claire, she is confident no matter what.
“I have certain physical features that I favor over others. We all have our areas.” Next, referring to the 2010 film she starred with Cher, she says, “When I worked on Burlesque, I lost so much weight that I was too skinny. I don’t weigh myself, it’s all about how I feel in my clothes…I happen to be very confident in my own skin. It takes time to get to that place, but it’s all about embracing yourself and your body.”
‘Highs and lows’
In 2012, when she released her seventh studio album “Lotus,” the singer was proudly showing off curvy figure.
Speaking with Billboard at the time, Aguilera said about her weight, “You are working with a fat girl. Know it now and get over it. They need a reminder sometimes that I don’t belong to them. It’s my body.” The “Dirrty” singer continued, “My body can’t put anyone in jeopardy of not making money anymore, my body is just not on the table that way anymore.”
But her confidence didn’t exclude her from being “under a microscope,” which she explains is “58 million times harder.”
“I’ve been through my highs, I’ve been through my lows; I’ve been through the gamut of all things in this business. Being too thin. Being bigger. I’ve been criticized for being on both sides of the scale. It’s noise I block out automatically. I love my body,” she says in the interview with Marie Claire.
Hot new look
In December 2023, the diva shocked her fans with her hot new body when she opened her Las Vegas residency, Christina Aguilera at Voltaire, that ends in August 2024.
The mother of two debuted her new body, minus 40 pounds and looked incredible in her figure-hugging outfits.
And recently, the “Lady Marmalade” the star of The Voice shared a series of photos on Instagram, that were snapped in Sardinia, Italy.
“Buona notte,” she captions one clip, where she’s seen strutting the streets in a hot pink outfit that she paired with matching thigh-high boots.
‘Amazing and healthy’
Fans quickly jumped into the comments section, expressing shock over her stunning new look.
“What happened to all that nice weight she had?” asks one fan of her slimmer physique. Responding to that question, another netizen says, “Apparently, she didn’t like it so she changed it. If she likes herself then that’s all that matters in the end. Not everyone wants to be [thick]. You are projecting your beauty standards on her.”
Defending her slim body, another writes, “Y’all must not be ok Christina fans because yes she was this skinny before. She looks EXACTLY the same from when she was in Burlesque. She looks amazing and HEALTHY.” Referring to Aguilera’s 5-foot-2 frame, the user continues, “She’s naturally a petite body frame.”
Another cyber fan shares, “Why. Don’t. You. Age. ?!?” pens one user while another adds, “The glow is glowing!! It’s giving [absolute] Queen.”
‘Best Ozempic result’
While the star looks fantastic, some online users were quick to suggest she uses Ozempic, the type 2 diabetes drug that’s now Hollywood’s not-so-secret weight loss drug.
One writes, “Surgery and Ozempic got her looking top heavy now,” while a second adds, “Best Ozempic result to date!”
Another pens, “Dang, she looks amazing! Wish I could be on Ozempic like everyone else, too, but afraid of the side effects.
Aguilera has not confirmed or denied the rumors.
