Will we ever see the day where parents aren’t shamed for the choices they make when it comes to their children?
Yet again, Jessica Simpson is facing some criticism after she shared an image of herself and her two daughters on Instagram.
While most fans loved the innocent snap, many found it “inappropriate.”
In the photo, Simpson’s oldest child, Maxwell hugs her mom and youngest sibling Birdie as the trio sit in the stands watching Simpson’s son Ace, 11, play basketball.
Maxwell, 12, and Birdie, 5, both smiled for the picture while Jessica opted to make a funny face. Although, it was a silly facial expression – she simply stuck out her tongue – some people thought it was an inappropriate way for the singer to pose with her children.
“Weird pose towards your son,” one person wrote, incorrectly identifying Birdie as Simpson’s son.
“Can’t pose normally with her kids. Look at me not look at us 🥱” another person commented.
“Weird pose towards your child 👅😬”
“Stop with the stupid faces! Can it ever just be about your daughters?”
Personally, I see no issue with the picture of the mother and her daughters. Why do people have to make a mountain out of a molehill?
What do you think?
