Ozzy Osbourne, 75, declares he’s ‘nearly f—— dead’

Ozzy Osbourne has provided what some will consider an alarming update on his health, after the legendary rock star admitted he’s “nearly f—— dead”.

Given the lifestyle the singer, now 75, has become famous for during a career that has spanned several decades, it’s hardly a surprise that the subject of his health has been discussed for years now.

Ozzy himself has always taken a candid approach where his well-being is concerned, keeping his army of fans informed and updated, regardless of how bleak things seem to be. The rocker recently revealed that he had turned once again to drugs to better manage his ongoing pain, prompting worry among his supporters.

Yet in typical fashion, the Black Sabbath frontman spoke positively while discussing his ailments, declaring – as per RadarOnline – “If it is the end of the road, I can’t complain.”

In a recent interview, Ozzy also expressed his desire to return home to his native England, revealing that he doesn’t want to spend his final months and years in the US.

The 75-year-old said: “Sharon said to me recently, ‘If you had to do it over again, would you change anything?’

“I answered, ‘No, I had a f—— great time.'”

On the possibility of returning to see out his days in the UK, he said: “I miss you guys (the UK.) I was supposed to come back a year ago but, because of my ill health and my disabilities, they won’t let me. I’ve just spent a lot of money having some big extensions on my house near Beaconsfield (including an indoor pool) and I’ve never seen them.

“At some point, I’m definitely going to England though. If I stay there? I hope I do? Something tells me the kids will follow. Maybe Sharon will want to keep a place here and a place there, we’ll see. I’m English but I’m becoming an American Brummie. I don’t want to end my days in America.”

As stated, the superstar’s many health issues have been well documented of late. Osbourne’s undergone a reported seven surgeries in five years, as well as having to content with Parkinson’s disease, which he was diagnosed with in 2003.

Ozzy was recently inducted into then Rock and Roll Hall of a Fame as a solo artist. During a ceremony on Saturday, October 19 in Cleveland, Ohio, he was recognized for his contribution and legacy.

Speaking on stage, Ozzy said: “Well, here we are. You know what? I can’t believe I’m here myself. Let me get the thank yous out of the way because I’m not going to bore you with a long, drawn-out f—— monologue. I’d like to thank whoever voted me into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for my solo work. A great thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Here’s to wishing Ozzy Osbourne all the best moving forward!
