Barron Trump ‘singing video’ goes viral

Barron Trump has lived an unexpectedly quiet, private life as the son of Donald Trump. His mother, Melania, has shielded him from the media throughout his life, and her protection has extended to beyond his 18th birthday. The youngest son of the POTUS has been largely kept out of the spotlight, though became the talk of the town at his father’s inauguration for several reasons.

Barron kept a typically low profile last year as he began his studies at Stern Business School at New York University. Then, last week, he found himself at the center of a media storm against a Republican club president who was forced to resign from her position over a comment made about Barron’s life on-campus.

While Barron wasn’t in any way involved in the firing of said president, social media users put him in the spotlight. It also happened not long ago due to Barron looking like a…. singer. Many of his fans quickly praised the president’s son after he went viral in a video. But was it really Barron?

Barron enrolled at Stern Business School at New York University last year. After graduating from his high school, Oxbridge Academy, in Palm Beach, Florida, last May, the 18-year-old and his parents visited several campuses across the US in the hunt for the best school for him. They ultimately settled on Stern Business School in the Big Apple.

Although Barron is back living in New York, he now does so without his parents. Donald and Melania have moved back into the White House, though Melania has made it clear that she will be in New York to support her son as much as possible.

The first lady appears confident that her son has made the right choice in attending New York University, but as he is the son of the President of the United States, things were never going to be as straight forward as they otherwise might have been.

In December, during an appearance on Fox and Friends, Melania spoke about Barron and his college experience, stating that his time at NYU will be very different compared to the rest of the students.

Barron Trump is a “ladies man” at NYU, says source

“I don’t think it’s possible for him to be a normal student. His experience at college — it’s very different than any other kid,” Melania said. “He’s very strong and he knows that he’s in a different position than other children.”

Meanwhile, a People Magazine source said Barron has been “popular with the ladies” since starting classes in September.

“He’s at Stern so he’s studying business in some way, he’s a ladies man for sure. He’s really popular with the ladies, he’s tall and handsome,” the source said. “A lot of people seem to think he’s pretty attractive — yes, even liberal people like him.”

Making new friends after arriving at a completely new place can be challenging. While being Donald Trump’s son might do the trick, it’s most important to surround yourself with people who want to be your friends rather than those looking to buddy up with someone famous. As Barron is constantly surrounded by Secret Service agents, getting to have a conversation with him in the first place is most likely tricky.

Indeed, Barron appears to have had a hard time making friends at New York University. According to US outlet TMZ, he has turned to online gaming, inviting classmates to play with him in the virtual world.

Barron fans say he’s a future president

According to TMZ, he has invited his college friends to join him on the popular gaming platform Discord, where users play games and chat with each other. Since he’s a big soccer fan, he plays the popular video game EA Sports FC 25.

Stern Business School is located close to Trump Tower but Barron is reportedly escorted to and from campus in an SUV. TMZ reports that classmates have described him as “chill.”

Barron stole some of the spotlight from his father during Inauguration Day in Washington. He appeared alongside his parents for the entire day and night, with many praising the youngster for how well he handled talking to the Washington elite.

Some Trump fans quickly took to social media to express their fascination over Barron’s polite and professional way of handling conversations with people such as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris. Just months ago, the same people argued that Donald surely won’t be the last Trump family member to take on office.

Last year’s election wasn’t only special since Barron once again got to see his father run for president, but also because it marked the first time he could vote. Melania celebrated that her 18-year-old son had cast his vote for the first time by posting a picture of him from behind at the voting booth.

“Voted for the first time – for his dad!” Melania wrote on X. Fans quickly sent their best regards to Barron, and some even predicted his future – as president.

“That suit. The lines. Flawless. What a sharp young man!” one user wrote.

“I smell a Trump political dynasty,” another stated.

“Future President!” a third user wrote, with another replying, “2044,” as in the year he would become President of the United States.

Barron Trump caught in media storm over Republican club president’s words on him

Barron is said to have maintained a low profile on the New York University campus. To be more approachable despite Secret Service agents following him everywhere he goes, he has chosen to carry a specific black backpack.

But even though Barron hasn’t done anything to steal the attention, he was last week caught in the middle of a massive media storm. In mid-February, Vanity Fair published an article on Barron in which the president of NYU’s College Republican club, Kaya Walker, offered some answers as to his day-to-day life there.

When asked about Barron’s time at the school, she said he’s “sort of like an oddity on campus. He goes to class, he goes home.” Several large accounts published the tweet on X. The news site AF Post, a platform advocating for the “America First” movement, posted it on February 16, and it went viral.

The post has been seen by more than 9 million. Before long, Walker found herself in the middle of what some would call a media storm. On February 18, Walker announced her resignation as president of NYU’s College Republican Club. She wrote an open letter about stepping down after being advised to resign by the College Republicans of America.

“I must consider the health of our organization,” Walker wrote. “I do apologize to everyone that I love and respect that was caught in the crosshairs of this willful and malicious misreading of my comment.”

“He’s kind of watched like a zoo animal.”

In an interview with The New York Post, Walker spoke about what had happened. She explained that, in her view, her remark was taken out of context and that she regretted resigning from her post as president.

“I’ve been killing myself trying to support the conservative movement,” Walker said. “Everybody knows that it’s an uphill battle being a Republican at NYU. I’ve put my everything into building up my chapter. I built [attendance] up exponentially. It’s been insane, especially this past year, we’ve seen such a rise in membership and had such a great time.”

She continued: “[AF Post] took it to say that I was saying that Barron was strange for being a commuter — which I thought was crazy because I’m a commuter. They [made it] look like I was calling the president’s son weird, but I feel like anybody who can read would know that’s not what I was doing.”

Walker concluded: “I just feel bad that he’s having this hard college experience, and I understand that he wants to be left alone.”

“I don’t even know Baron Trump. I campaigned for his father. Why would I have any ill intent towards him?” She also stated that Barron is “watched like a zoo animal.”

Even though Barron had nothing to do with Kaya Walker or her comments, the youngster was inevitably caught up in the storm. The 18-year-old college student has never done an interview or been put in front of paparazzi cameras on his own, but whatever Barron does ends up being in the public’s interest.

Video of Barron Trump at ‘America’s Got Talent’ spread across social media

During Inauguration Day, one clip of Barron Trump walking alongside his parents went viral, and it didn’t matter one iota that it was a fake video. Barron has received surprised looks because of his incredible height many times, so it wasn’t a surprise that social media users would use just that to make a humorous video.

As Barron followed his father into a building, someone made him at least 16 feet tall. It was so extreme that not a single person could have believed it. However, the same can’t be said of another video of Barron posted not long ago. This time, an AI fake of the president’s son led people to believe he actually had become a… pop star.

Earlier in February, a video of Barron Trump appearing on America’s Got Talent to perform the song Jesus Loves America spread on social media, with one TikTok post getting more than 490,000 views. Another video of him singing the song was published on YouTube, garnering more than 300,000 views.

Even though it was clearly an AI fake, some users thought it was real.

“I can’t believe that he’s a singer never knew that and he’s good wow,” one user wrote on Youtube.

“I had no idea he could sing he sounds great,” another said, while a third added, “I like the voice, it’s so beautiful.”

“Clear signs of AI generation”

Others tried to tell people that it wasn’t real, and in the end, Snopes, a large fact-checking website, felt the need to debunk it. In an article posted on February 23, the site wrote that the videos of Barron singing “displayed clear signs of being generated using artificial intelligence (AI) software.”

“The clips showed clear signs of AI generation, including unnatural lip movements that did not sync with the audio and other visual inconsistencies, such as distorted facial expressions and the younger Trump’s hand in a pocket that doesn’t exist on normal jackets,” Snopes wrote.

“The fabricated videos didn’t just rely on AI-generated footage. In the clips, AI-generated scenes of Barron singing were blended with authentic footage from “America’s Got Talent,” potentially increasing confusion and making the deception more convincing.”
