Going on a nude cruise might be more popular than many think. But what really goes on at sea? One man who went on a 2,000-person nude cruise has revealed some spicy details – for example, what happens if a passenger gets aroused.
Naturism isn’t anything new. While it might have had its ups and downs over the years, it still appears to be very popular.
While naturism can be practiced in many places, being at home is probably one place where most feel most comfortable. If you go on a nudist beach, for example, there are still public bathrooms or such to be more “private” in. But what do you do at see? Well, one Reddit user wrote on the popular forum about his experience being on a nude cruise with 2,000 strangers.
While many might believe it is a “free-for-all” kind of cruise, that is not really the case. In fact, you could get in serious trouble if, let’s say, you got aroused at the buffé.
On Reddit, the veteran nude cruiser has shared what it is like to take part in a 2,000-person nude cruise. He wrote on the public thread “AMA,” which stands for “Ask me Anything.”

In the comments section, users can ask the person anything about the subject. And people sure did.
“I just disembarked from a 2,000-person nude cruise. AMA,” the post read.
“This was a cruise for nudists, not a ‘lifestyle’ cruise. Accordingly, there was no public sex and no erections that I saw. An erection would be considered poor form in this environment,” he wrote.
“Generally speaking, the crowd was older and not particularly attractive. However, there were attractive people too. The “why” is because it’s a nice feeling to be nude, just like it’s a nice feeling fo a man to be without a shirt at the beach. Skinny dipping is great. Being nude at some of the world’s nicest beaches is great.”
The user added, “No bare butts on any surface in any public space. Ever. That’s not a difficult concept. Nudists are as interested in hygiene as much as if not more than the next guy.”
As mentioned, many commented on the post, having questions.
One person asked: “Maybe not specific to the cruise, but nudism in general… I’m assuming boners just happen, since it happens in everyday clothed life, too. Are they frowned upon or just accepted in this environment?”
“Non-sexual cruise”
The user replied, explaining that boners “almost never happen.”
“This cruise is very non-sexual, so a man would want to hide it somehow. Non-nudists think about this a lot more than nudists do,” he said.
Another user asked: “What was the rule for boners?”
The nude cruise passenger replied, “As I said above, this is something that non-nudists worry about a lot more than nudists. I’ve been a nudist for ten years and I’ve almost never seen one. Since this cruise is not a sex-positive event, the man would be expected to conceal it.”
