For example, when the award for Best Costume Design was to be announced, actress Anne Hathaway appeared on stage with the former Vogue Editor in Chief Anna Wintour.
Hathaway starred as the fashion assistant Emily in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada, which is largely believed to have been inspired by Wintour. When on stage at the Oscars, Hathaway nervously asked, “Anna, just curious…what do you think of my dress tonight?”
Wintour replied simply, “And the nominees for best costume design are….”
The former Editor in Chief then called Anne Emily, a reference to her character in The Devil Wears Prada.

Moreover, fans noticed a strange detail as she appeared on stage as a presenter.
