Paris Hilton is undoubtedly one of the most iconic blondes of our time.
On May 16, fans got to witness a full 180 from her usual look, when Paris Hilton strutted down the runway at Gucci Cruise 2027 at Times Square, dressed in a yellow pussy-bow dress, black boots and a huge black coat.
What most people will remember from this look though, is Hilton’s dramatic dark brown hair transformation created by Gucci creative director Demna.
Fans react to Paris Hilton’s brunette look
Demna and his team knew what they were doing, because the publics’ reactions were immidiate.
Hilton herself shared snaps and videos from the show on her Instagram with the caption:
“Gucci Girl forever. It was such a dream to walk the runway for Demna’s debut Gucci Cruise collection,” Hilton wrote on her Instagram the following day along with pictures from the show and added:
“Demna, you are a true visionary, and it was so iconic to take over Times Square with you.”
The comments on the post span from excited to mesmerized.
“Wow Paris, that hair makes you look like a completely new person. I honestly didn’t even recognize you at first. Now this is getting fun haha,” read one comment.
“Queen of the world and 2000s,” declared another commenter.
“My jaw is on the floor omg SO ICONIC,” a third gushed.
“The ultimate Gucci icon going brunette is absolutely the most iconic runway ever at Times Square New York. Love every photo, and my favourite is photo no. 14 the side-eye look while walking on the runway is literally fire,” someone barely able to contain their excitement wrote, decorating their comment with a myriad of crown and fire-emojis.
Paris Hilton quickly returns to blonde
The following day Hilton shared more photos in which she’s seen posing for Gucci, this time donning her famous blonde locks. Hopefully fans of brunette Paris won’t be too disappointed.
