A Russian woman’s dramatic appearance immediately after facial plastic surgery has gone viral after a video of her transformation sparked intense debate across social media.

A clip of a woman who had undergone extensive plastic surgery shared by Eastern European media outlet NEXTA, shows the patient, identified as Anastasia, sitting beside her surgeon shortly after the procedure. Although she expressed excitement about the results, many online viewers were shocked by her swollen face, elevated brows, and visible stitches, with some comparing her appearance to a “crime scene.”
The surgeon appeared unfazed by the criticism, telling Anastasia that while people would publicly condemn her, many would secretly wish for similar results themselves.
During the 27-second video, Anastasia praised the outcome of the surgery, saying she was especially happy with how much her eyebrows had been lifted.
“I like it very much,” she said, explaining that she had worried previous procedures might prevent surgeons from achieving the look she wanted.
Viewers, however, were far less enthusiastic.
