Kelly Osbourne has unleashed a series of blistering social media posts, declaring she’s “done” and just wants “to be happy.”
Although the 41-year-old TV personality never named anyone in the cryptic posts, the public rant followed swirling rumors about her relationship with Slipknot’s Sid Wilson, and came only days after reports claimed the musician had been fired from the band.
‘F*** off. You’re not marrying my daughter!’
The timing was especially striking given the couple’s long history. After first meeting at Ozzfest more than 20 years ago, Osbourne and Wilson’s friendship eventually turned into a romance in 2022.
Later that year they welcomed their son, Sidney, and in July 2025, Wilson, 49, proposed backstage at Ozzy Osbourne’s “Back to the Beginning” farewell concert.
At the time, the proposal felt like the latest chapter in a relationship that had quietly grown over decades, with family and friends looking on as Wilson got down on one knee.
“You know I love you more than anything in the world. Nothing would make me happier than to spend the rest of my life with you,” Wilson told Osbourne before the proposal.
Ozzy famously interrupted, saying: “F***- off, you’re not marrying my daughter!”
Shrugging off the late rocker’s joke, Wilson continued, “So, in front of your family and all of our friends, Kelly, will you marry me?”
Just weeks later, however, the Osbourne family was mourning the death of the Black Sabbath legend.
As the family mourned Ozzy’s death, pressures facing the couple reportedly developed behind the scenes.
‘It’s been very emotional for her’
Months before the latest social media posts, a source told People the couple had already been navigating a difficult period.
“She’s been in a challenging headspace for several reasons. It’s been very emotional for her. She’s had a lot going on,” the insider told the outlet in March 2026.
According to the source, Ozzy’s death continued to weigh heavily on his daughter while she supported Sharon, frequently traveling to visit her mom in England from her home in Iowa.
“Ozzy’s death still affects her deeply. She’s very focused on being there for her mom right now. They’re incredibly close, and that’s been her priority,” the insider said, explaining that different priorities had also created a rift in the relationship that reportedly came to an end in March 2026.
“It’s been hard for Kelly and Sid to balance everything, especially with different priorities about where to spend time. This has put a strain on their relationship,” the source added.
Then came the posts.
‘I’m done’
Osbourne’s first post focused on blame, accountability and what happens when someone refuses to confront their own behavior.
“Strange how the loudest defense of the guilty is rarely innocence…It’s distraction,” the Fashion Police alum wrote in an Instagram story. “When the mask slips, they don’t face the mirror they throw it at someone else. I also heard that when you break a mirror you get seven years bad luck! Or is that just karma? This is why I always take accountability! As they say, some are sicker than others.”
She followed it with a quote about protecting her son, set to Lewis Capaldi’s “Love the Hell Out of You.”
“My son’s little heart once beat right beside mine. So, trust me when I say…I will protect it at all costs,” the post read.
Osbourne then shared her strongest message of the series.
“Wake the f*** up take some responsibility I will not take your s*** anymore! I’m done,” she wrote. “I want to be happy, and I have a beautiful son to raise. Leave me alone. Let me heal. I can’t protect you from yourself anymore.”
Asks for dogs and child support
Another post, paired with Everybody Loves an Outlaw’s “I See Red,” made her priorities even clearer.
“My job is to protect my kids. Not your feelings. Not your expectations. Not judgements I didn’t ask for,” the quote read. “My responsibility is to protect their wellbeing. Their nervous systems. Their emotional safety.”
“I will choose them every single time. Over anyone. Over everything,” it continued.
She ended the sequence with a far more pointed request.
“Also, while I’m at it, can I have my dogs back and all my possessions. Oh yeah and maybe some child support?”
Slipknot adds another layer
The posts arrived shortly after TMZ reported that Wilson had been removed from Slipknot after 28 years, although neither Wilson nor the band has publicly confirmed that claim.
The reason behind the alleged split from the group remains unclear.
Slipknot guitarist James “Jim” Root later appeared to push back on the report through his own Instagram Story.
“Don’t believe everything you read,” he wrote. “Stop. Think. Take a breath. Sit with it for a while. Maybe. Just maybe even wait until there’s more information.”
