A disturbing new threat against the Trump family seems to have emerged from Iran – this time focusing on President Donald Trump’s youngest son, Barron.
A three-minute video aired by Iranian state-backed media reportedly claims that the 20-year-old is being monitored and alleges that a $10 million bounty has been placed on his life.
The footage is reportedly connected to media outlets affiliated with Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to Middle East publication Al Bawaba.
Rather than simply targeting Barron, the video zeroes in on his personal life, according to LADbible. It reportedly identifies New York University facilities connected to Barron and includes images of dorm rooms at the school’s Constance Milstein & Family Global Academic Center.
The broadcast also makes claims about Barron’s digital life, alleging that it has identified his accounts on Xbox, FIFA video games and Discord.
Iran airs video threatening Barron Trump
Two people described as Barron’s classmates are also named in the footage. However, those claims have not been independently substantiated.
The video reportedly carries the title “Where to Kill Barron Trump?” and uses lettering designed to resemble blood.
It closes with a direct threat: “This is just the beginning! Barron Trump, wait for us!”
Iranian media has previously aired material aimed at other members of the Trump family, including the president himself and first lady Melania Trump.
The latest video comes against the backdrop of an increasingly hostile relationship between the United States and Iran.
The conflict that began in February followed the killing of Iranian leader Ali Khamenei and resulted in the Strait of Hormuz being blocked, causing a sharp rise in oil prices around the world.
