Trump makes “horrifying” claim about Harry & Meghan’s marriage

Donald Trump is finally seeing Prince Harry and Meghan Markle leave the U.S., and it’s a move the president is unlikely to be unhappy about. However, Trump isn’t staying quiet about the Sussexes. Trump has decided to speak out with some strong words for the couple, and he is now targeting Meghan.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, together with their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, touched down in the UK last week. The couple has left their lush life in Montecito, California, and instead decided to move back to the UK.

Exactly how long they are staying for, no one knows; however, it’s been reported that they have already enrolled their children in UK schools.

The Sussexes’ return to Britain comes with mixed reactions, not least from the royal family. King Charles is said to be happy about being able to spend more time with his grandchildren. However, it’s a different story with Prince William and Kate Middleton. One source has claimed William is furious with Harry’s return, but that they won’t be bothered.

“Harry has said some extraordinary things about the family. William is somebody that when you break trust and you go beyond a certain point, there’s no going back. Before, William would have said ‘he’s 5,000/6,000 miles away and it’s not my problem, he’s in another country,’” an insider explained, per Express.

Donald Trump breaks silence on Prince Harry & Meghan Markle’s UK return

“But now he’s suddenly back on the doorstep. I just don’t think he’s going to be happy about the situation at all.”

In the meantime, on the other side of the Atlantic, at least one person is happy that they are leaving. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have had a very strained relationship with President Donald Trump, who has taken the royals’ side in the feud that began a few years back when the Duke and Duchess left their royal life behind.

He previously threatened to deport Harry and called Meghan “nasty.” In 2020, during a GB News interview, Trump said, “I’m not a fan of hers. I wasn’t from day one. I think she’s very disrespectful to the queen,” describing the then-reigning monarch as “a great woman.”

Now, as Harry and Meghan have left, the president is more than happy. On Wednesday, while speaking with reporters, Trump said, “I’m happy about it.”

“I was not a fan,” he continued. “I had a very good relationship with the queen, really good, I got to know her very well. A really good relationship with King Charles – I knew him as Prince Charles and King Charles. I’ve known him for a long time.”

Trump says Meghan has had “terrible influence” on Harry

Trump described Charles as a “great, great guy”, adding that he thought Harry and Meghan “treated the royal family with great disrespect.”

“I didn’t like it,” the president added. “If I were the royal family, I would not have taken them back.”

But Donald Trump was not done. Speaking with GB News, he lashed out against Meghan Markle, saying she has had a “horrifying influence” on her husband.

Moreover, he criticized Harry for the “terrible” way he has treated his brother, Prince William,

“I think that what she has done and him [Prince Harry], he wrote a book that was very terrible to William, it was terrible,” Trump said. “The things he said, I wouldn’t… I mean, it’s just me. I’m sure I’m wrong on this, but I would not have taken him back. I would have never spoken to him again.”
