Richard Gere has become a father again!
It’s been nearly 20 years since he was proclaimed a dad for the first time but, according to People, he and his wife, 35-year-old Alejandra Silva, welcomed a baby boy to the world last week.
A representative of 69-year-old Gere’s confirmed that Silva had successfully delivered the baby in New York late last week …
While the baby boy represents the first child Gere and Silva have had together, both have children from previous relationships.
Gere has a 19-year-old son named Homer James Jigme, who he co-parents with ex-wife Care Lowell, whilst Silva has a 6-year-old son named Albert.

The couple married in secret last year, having been dating since 2014, and will no doubt be delighted now they’ve added to their little family.
Though details of their new son’s name were not given, CNN appear to confirm that it is indeed a boy. More details should follow soon.
