Meghan Markle called ‘Princess of the United Kingdom’ in baby Archie’s birth certificate

Meghan Markle gave birth to baby Archie last week, and the world could not be more excited to greet the newest British royal! Meghan’s pregnancy was much followed, and there were even bets on the gender of her and Prince Harry’s child as well as the name this child would have. No one would have guessed that ‘Archie’ was the named they would choose!

But the world is still waiting for the details of Archie’s birth. When did Meghan go into labor? Was he born in a hospital? When will we get a good look at him? Although they presented the newborn to the world and to the press, there’s still so much to know!

The child’s full name is Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. That’s quite the name!

Now, Archie’s birth certificate has been released.

On it, Meghan’s occupation is listed as “Princess of the United Kingdom.” Congratulations, Meghan!

This is also the same occupation Kate Middleton listed on each of her children’s birth certificates.

You can also see that the princess’s full name is “Rachel Meghan Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex.”

The birth certificate also reports that the little prince was not born at home, as it was initially thought, but in a hospital, in a luxury suite.
