Alicia Keys dazzled fans when she appeared in a sparkling red dress that reflected the bright lights of New York’s Lincoln Center for the 2024 Tony Awards.
Escorted by her parents and three sons, Keys rocked the red carpet at the June 16 event and fans are saying she slayed her look as the “most gorgeous” woman.

On June 16th, Alicia Keys, 43, walked the red carpet of New York City’s Lincoln Center for the 2024 Tony Awards with her parents, Terria Joseph and Craig Cook, and her sons, Egypt, 13, and Genesis, 9, along with Kasseem Jr., 17, her husband Swizz Beatz’s son from an earlier relationship.
Her family was there supporting the Broadway musical Hell’s Kitchen that’s inspired by the life of the “Fallin’” singer.
Hell’s Kitchen, that won two Tonys of 13 nominations, features new and old music written by Keys, including “If I Ain’t Got you,” “No One,” and “You Don’t Know My Name.”
Adding to the excitement of the star-studded evening, Keys and rapper Jay-Z (Beyoncé’s husband) appeared in a pre-taped performance of “Empire State of Mind,” the 2007 smash hit that closes the Broadway production.
For the song, Keys first started singing on stage and then steps away, drawing attention the large screen behind the dancers. “Are we in New York City tonight? Are we at the Tony Awards tonight? I had to do something crazy, it’s my home town,” she says as she disappears into the audience.
Jay-Z is then projected on the screen, along with Keys – wearing the same outfit – for the rest of the performance.
Lady in red
Prior to rocking out the chart-topping song with Jay-Z, the singer-songwriter appeared on the red carpet in a show-stopping red gown, complete with sparkling embellishments and long gloves by Gucci. Adding to her show-stopping look, the “Girl on Fire” singer tightly pulled her hair into a twisted top bun, accentuating her glowing facial features.
According to celebrity stylist Jason Bolden, who’s dressed Keys multiple times, vibrant colors are “part of the DNA when it comes to clothes for her.”
“She just loves color,” Bolden tells People, adding that she appreciates statement pieces with an “architectural feel and texture.”
Bolden explains the Grammy-winning singer also loves “high-waisted anything, a crop top to show off her midriff” and an open neckline to highlight her collarbones. “It opens things up, lets the look breathe,” he adds.
While her all-red gown let her breathe, she left fans breathless.
‘Most gorgeous woman’
Keys shares some snapshots of her family preparing for the big event, and the online audience can’t stop gushing over her beauty.
One writes, “You are gorgeous always but red Gucci next level!” while a second admirer shares, “Most gorgeous woman she is!!!”
A third writes, “Absolutely Beautiful and an amazing artist, thank you for blessing us with your fantastic voice.”
Meanwhile, other fans noticed her husband, whom she married in 2010, was missing. “Beautiful but where is her husband? Did I miss him?” asks one fan.
“Where’s Swizz?” another questions.
According to an Instagram post shared by Beatz on June 17th, the record producer and rapper is visiting family in Saudi Arabia.
He did however share a sweet post, congratulating his beautiful wife on the two Tony Awards captured by Hell’s Kitchen. He writes, “I’ve watched my wife build this for 13 yrs and now seeing this come to life is EPIC. BLESSINGS Congrats [Alicia] and the entire [Hell’s Kitchen] team and family. Thank you to all the supporters around the world that went to see Hell’s Kitchen. You guys did it let’s gooooooo.”
Also absent from the event was Prince Nasir, 23, and Nicole, 16, Beatz’s kids from previous relationships.
