Celine Dion resurfaces at Las Vegas hockey game, appears in new photos for first time in 3 1/2 years

After disappearing from the spotlight following her Stiff Person Syndrome diagnosis, Celine Dion has resurfaced.

The singer made a surprise visit to the T-Mobile Arena to watch the Vegas Golden Knights take on her hometown team the Montreal Canadiens.

After the game, Dion hung out in the locker room with the Canadiens and posed for pictures. (MSN readers, click here for new photos)

Despite various reports on the Grammy Award-winning artist’s health, Dion appeared to be in good spirits as she visited with the team following their loss to the Golden Knights.

“A great visit to our game in Vegas yesterday,” wrote the Canadiens’ vice-president of hockey communications Chantal Machabée, alongside of photo of herself and Dion.

“Thank you Celine Dion for your generosity. The whole team was very happy to meet you and your family.”

The team’s head coach Martin St. Louis spoke in French with Dion about the time she sang “Une colombe” for Pope John Paul II as a teenager at Olympic Stadium in Montreal.

“We’ve changed a little bit since then, but not too much,” Dion said.

The photos of Dion in the Canadiens’ locker room mark the first new photos of the legendary singer in three and a half years.

In December 2022, Dion revealed she had been diagnosed with Stiff Person Syndrome, a rare neurological condition that affects a person’s muscles.

“While we’re still learning about this rare condition, we now know this is what’s been causing all of the spasms that I’ve been having,” she said in an emotional video. “Unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.”

Her diagnosis led to the cancellation of her 2023 show dates.

Celine Dion looks great! I hope she’s doing well. She has so many people rooting for her.
