Halle Berry has had a tough time as of late as she is still in a long standing custody battle with her ex-husband Olivier Martinez. Now she has revealed some things which are incredibly shocking.

Halle Berry’s custody battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez seems to have reach a head. Now the actress says the battle has put a toll on their 10-year-old who is suffering because of it. This is why, the actress is seeking sole custody of her son.
Legal documents, which were obtained by the media, show that Halle claims that Olivier’s “turbulent and detrimental behavior” has made a negative impact on their 10-year-old son Maceo. She talks about how Olivier has serious behavior and learning difficulties, which her ex-husband refuses to address.
Halle says that Olivier has been an obstacle in getting help from her ex. Instead of getting help for their son, he prioritizes soccer over school which has caused their son to fall behind academically. She claims that Olivier has refused to get their son a tutor since it might interfere with his soccer practice.
She also alleges when Olivier has Maceo for a longer period of time, the 10-year-old returns to his mother angry and combative. She claims Olivier reveals their issues with one another and their conflict over child-rearing to the young boy and it is taking a toll on his relationship with his mom.
Halle shares that while she knows she is not a perfect person, she is definitely a good parent. She alleges that Olivier is anything but a good parent.
The couple currently shares joint legal and physical custody of their son. She is now arguing the judge to give her sole legal custody so she can get Maceo back on track. She wants to have more control over making decisions about her son’s education and therapy.
The couple have been going through a custody battle for years now, having separated in 2015 after 2 years of marriage. Their divorce was not finalized till last August and most of the contention in that area has been over child-rearing for them.
Halle shared that she has spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to resolve everything in private but now has no choice but to go public with legal filings to the court and lay out their issues in front of a family law judge.
