Linda Evangelista admits she is ‘not interested’ in dating following CoolSculpting incident

Linda Evangelista has remained out of the public eye ever since suffering a rare side effect of the CoolSculpting procedure which left her “brutally disfigured” and “permanently deformed.”

The iconic supermodel, who rose to fame in the ’90s, has even shied away from forming any close relationships with anyone.

In a new interview, Evangelista, 58, stated the last time she dated was prior to her traumatic beauty incident and confirmed she was “not interested” at the moment.

While one might suspect Evangelista is self-conscious, she says that’s not the reason.

“I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore,” Evangelista told the Sunday Times. “I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”

After filing a $50 million lawsuit against Zeltiq Aesthetics Inc., CoolSculpting’s parent company, and undergoing countless corrective surgeries, the supermodel has been working on releasing her guilt.

“Well, I don’t blame myself any more. I’m not hard on myself any longer,” she said. “And how people feel about me still bothers me a little bit, but it used to bother me a lot.”

“I know now that I didn’t do anything wrong. For the longest time I thought I did. I’m not completely rid of it, but I work hard at getting rid of the guilt and the shame. And I’m not letting it ruin my life. I wouldn’t have stayed locked up if I’d known how many people cared.”

It’s so sad to hear how Linda Evangelista went into hiding for so many years after suffering such a traumatic beauty procedure. We hope that one day soon she will overcome the dark thoughts that plague her mind.
