Stella McCartney shared a sweet message Sunday, honoring her “rock” of a father, Sir Paul McCartney on Father’s Day and his 81st birthday.
The fashion designer took to Instagram to acknowledge The Beatles’ star.
“My father has been there next to me every step of the way with advice and support, but most of all love. I know to the world he is an icon but on this day of double celebration, I call him Dad.”
“I see him for who he truly is… My rock. My rock ‘n roll rock! I love you and always will. Thank you for making my life better every single day.”
She also gave a shout out to all the “brave and brilliant dads out there” alongside a slideshow of “Stella team members” and their fathers.
She shared another clip on Instagram, this time featuring photos of Paul throughout the years.
“Happy birthday, Dadahoy! It’s a double celebration of all things Papa Smurf today…” she wrote. “You are the biggest blessing to so many, but to me you’re the best gift a girl could ever dream of.”
“I wish you the happiest and healthiest of days surrounded by all your family, which is the most important thing on Earth to you… They say it’s your birthday… Happy birthday to you!!! xx”
Paul shares Stella and three other children, Heather, Mary, and James with his late ex-wife Linda Eastman. He is also the father to Beatrice whom he shares with Heather Mills.
