Kelker-Kelly is also remembered for starring on Another World, where he played two different characters. In the 1980s, he played Sam Fowler, and in the 1990s, Dr. Shane Robert.

Moreover, Kelker-Kelly also starred as Stavros Cassadine on General Hospital. On October 5, TMZ reported that the actor had died at 62.

The St. Peters Police Department confirmed to the news outlet that officers responded to Kelker-Kelly’s Missouri home after a man was found unconscious and not breathing, following complaints of chest pain.

Authorities reportedly attempted life-saving measures at the scene, but their efforts were unsuccessful. The cause of death was not immediately known.

The medical examiner in Missouri told TMZ that Robert Kelker-Kelly died October 3.

A dispatcher added that “units responding” were en route to the house. Meanwhile, they said, “CPR is in progress.” Another responding officer said that the person was a “62-year-old male” who was “not conscious” and “not breathing.”

The news outlet further revealed that the audio, an automated voice, said there was a “cardiac arrest” at Kelker-Kelly’s address.

On Monday, Kyle Gaines, the Division Chief and Public Information Officer for the St. Charles County Ambulance District (SCCAD), gave more details about Kelker-Kelly’s passing.

“First responders and paramedics responded to a call … for an adult male patient for a cardiac arrest, he told PageSix. “They were dispatched, where paramedics and first responders provided advanced life-saving protocol techniques. Unfortunately, the patient was pronounced deceased on scene.”

Police noted that there was nothing suspicious at the scene and that an official cause of death has yet to be released.
