Sharon Osbourne returns to her signature red hair, says white hair made her ‘look like Grandma Clampett’

In February, Sharon Osbourne debuted a new look that stunned many. After nearly 20 years, Osbourne said goodbye to her signature dark red hair and hello to platinum blonde.

“Sharon has 100% white hair and she was coloring her hair once a week dark vibrant red for the past 18 years,” Jack Martin, Osbourne’s colorist wrote on Instagram.

Dying her hair once a week to keep up her appearance for co-host of The Talk got to be a bit much, and she was finally ready for a change.

After eight hours, she had a much lighter color.

But months later, Osbourne decided to switch it up again.

“I caught a glimpse of myself in the mirror, and I’m like, ‘Nah, you look like Grandma Clampett,’” she said during an episode of The Talk.

“And then I thought, ‘Nah, I’m changing it back,’ and that’s what I did.”

Previously, Osbourne said she was “so fed up” of having her hair dyed.

“I’m like why am I trying to do this or be something that I’m not? So, just be who you are,” she said on the morning talk show in February.

But now it seems like she’s reversed course, and she’s ready to go back to the person she’s been for the past 18 years.

And maybe even switch it up again. On Instagram she asked what color she should try next.

So, what do you think? Were you a fan of Sharon’s extreme platinum blonde hair or are you glad she’s back to the deep red?
