Former soccer player Sir David Beckham made history on Friday as he was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. However, it wasn’t only he that brought the headlines, but also his wife, Victoria Beckham, as social media went into a frenzy over one detail: Her toes.
On Friday, the former England captain, Sir David Beckham, became the first footballer to ever receive a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The now 51-year-old, who has created an empire after ending his playing career, for example, becoming the co-owner of soccer team Inter Miami FC, was honored with a star on Friday, with many of his family members present.
In his speech, the retired soccer player said he’s “always been a dreamer, but I never could have imagined that an honor like this would come to a working-class English soccer player like me.” Moreover, he thanked his wife, Victoria Beckahm, his children, and his parents.
Only three of the couple’s four children attended the ceremony in Los Angeles: Cruz, 21, Romeo, 23, and Harper. Their eldest, Brooklyn Beckham, 27, was absent, as was his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham, most likely because of the ongoing feud with the eldest son.
David’s close friend, movie star Tom Cruise, was also in attendance and gave a speech. The same went for Beckham’s wife, Victoria, who praised her husband in her speech.
When speaking about her husband, the former Spice Girl also joked about her iconic film “Spice World.”

“He believed that if he worked hard and dreamed big enough, anything was possible,” she said of her husband, praising his “kindness, loyalty and commitment to the people he loves.”
“Naturally, I assumed I was coming here today to receive my star for my part in that iconic cult-classic, Spice World: The Movie,” Victoria joked. “But as it turns out, earning a star takes a little more than surviving the late ’90s box office. It takes vision, determination, and an extraordinary amount of hard work. To see David’s name become part of that story today is incredibly special.”
Victoria Beckham wore a dress from her own Resort 2027 collection. She has gained a reputation for always being fashionably dressed, and at the Walk of Fame ceremony, it was no different.
However, it wasn’t the dress that drew fans’ online reaction. Instead, people were left in shock by her footwear, which left many comments on social media.
“Look at her toes,” one person wrote on Facebook. A second asked, “Why are her toes all mashed up in those sandals?”
A third warned, “She’s going to have foot issues wearing shoes like that.”
